Typical dungeoncrawler. You play Varik, being hunted by a woman who claims you killed her teacher. As they fight, they both fall into a deep pit. At the bottom, Varik finds a vast dungeon that he must find his way through to get back to the surface. Features a rather odd control scheme in which the player can only move up or down. When left or right is pressed on the pad, your character does not move but your view does, turning the map so that what was once left is now up and what was up is now right. For obvious reasons, it takes some getting used to, and can be clunky at times (it simply switches to one of the four basic directions, it doesn't smoothly rotate as in games like Contra 3).
