Glitches and Fun Facts
Too Fine to Ignore: Shanoa's Arma Felix glyph transforms the young lass into a bipedal Black Panther, able to assault foes with flying claws and flailing tails. The power comes with an additional quirk: The ability to communicate with the cats seen roaming about Wygol village. You can further interact with the felines by dragging the stylus across the screen--this produces a ball of catnip that Tofu and its ilk will surely chase. (Contributed by Amar Youkai.)
Terminatrix: Shanoa: Dracula-hunting member of Ecclesia, or human woman sent back from the future to seduce and terminate largely defenseless machines? It's surely the former, which still puts into question Shanoa's "Arma Machina" glyph ability, which has her transform into a robot resembling the unsupervised Automaton ZX models seen roaming the countryside. Such machines lack direction, that is, until they witness Shanoa's robotic transformation and learn the meaning of love at first sight, unaware that the feeling is anything but mutual. Still, the perk of being lusted over by a machine is that robo-Shanoa will not be harmed by the Automatons. (Contributed by Sr. Lan Belmont.)
Make Bathtime Lots of Fun: Players aware of the true nature of Ecclesia's difficulty-level will be reminded of such when they navigate through the Somnus Reef, filled to the brim with poisonous foes. That in mind, why not momentarily delay the horror and flash back to happier times by trekking all the way left from the area's right entrance. Waiting for Shanoa is our old friend the rubber ducky, which for sure signifies Shanoa is "the one." (Contributed by Sr. Lan Belmont.)
Taking Tetris Literally: Early in her travels, Shanoa will explore the Monastery only to sense the Cubus Glyph, which is trapped beyond an unbreachable wall and obscured by a never-ceasing falling-block puzzle; she'll later absorb the Glyph with the help of advanced weaponry, without ever touching ground in this "blocked"-off room portion. To the more-adventurous player's rescue comes the unlockable Albus, whose warp ability allows him to breach the wall and witness the block-falling madness up close and as a willing participant. "Is it a glitch, or did the designers intend for Albus to have this level of access?" you ask. Whatever the case, you can now walk upon ground that in any sense feels forbidden.
