The Castlevania Double Pack, released in January of 2006, is a simple collection of two GBA titles: Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. Its release, it seems, is geared more toward introducing newer handheld-gaming consumers to the two titles that led to creation (influence- and formula-wise) of Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for the DS. Why Castlevania: Circle of the Moon is exempt is simple: This title was created by the now-defunct KCEK, previous to Koji Igarashi's regime, and the current director wishes to strike it from the series' canon.
