Hidden Sound Test: Perhaps it says something of Castlevania Legend's soundtrack that the developers never thought to include as part of the game experience a no-nonsense Sound Test, a mode that has been a series staple since Dracula's Curse. Or maybe they did supply a sound test but decided to save an eardrum or a thousand and hide it away. Whatever the case, something of the sort is indeed lurking on that game pak, but you're going to have to do some work (and own a cheat device) if you hope to unlock Legend's Sound Test. To start, boot up the game up and advance past the title screen, the menus, and such until you're in control of Sonia; now load up a GameShark and put in the code "010B20C5." The action will end and you'll be prompted to the secret Sound Test, where you'll remain until the cheat is unselected or until the game is reset, both of which net the same result.
