Aaahh!! Real Monsters is based on the popular Nickelodeon cartoon of the same name. The plot is also the same: You control three monsters as they train at the Monster Academy. You must go out and collect a certain item and/or scare a certain human in order to pass your exams. The three monsters you control are the stars of the cartoon: Ickis (the big-eared red one), Krumm (the fat one holding his eyes in his hands), and Oblina (the black-and-white striped tall one). Each monster has his own special talent that can be used to help get to hard to reach areas. Players can switch between characters at any time by pressing the L or R shoulder buttons.
