This mythological
creature, a seductress who feasts on human emotions, invades men's dreams,
telling them lies and convoluting their minds. One would assume, from this,
that her goal is to take over men's souls, but it's actually the torture of
the prey that better suits her needs. Most famously, she was temporarily able
to fool Alucard by taking the shape of his mother, a highly sympathetic figure,
and trying to seduce him to the side of evil, "where he belongs."
She's tried similar stunts against other heroes who were able to resist. The
veil fallen, she'd take to battle in a most deadly way. The Succubus is best
known for using its wings to cut people to pieces, its fangs to suck away
life-force, and its power of illusion to confuse the enemy.
