Sub-Weapon Name: Holy Flame Of the three spells exclusive to Sypha in Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, the holy flame is the most powerful. When the flame spell book is put to is use, Sypha will produce a short yet crippling flame blast, spewed forward in a flash. Because it's quick in execution, Sypha can can get up close and pound away on projectile-happy foes, who will see their attacks thwarted. The flame is best used on grounded foes and also against most bosses, who are not immune to its wicked bite. |
Sub-Weapon Name: Ice The ice spell can be used to freeze both enemies and water. When the book is read, freezing blasts will be sent flying in all directions. If an enemy is caught in the blast and frozen, you can either shatter it to pieces in one hit or use it as a makeshift platform; ice can also be used to temporarily freeze bodies of water, whose surfaces for that duration will become frozen surfaces; too, any fishmen who inhabit these pools will see their underwater progress halted. |

Sub-Weapon Name: Lightning Lightning is best used when battling out-of-range enemies (example: those placed on platforms above or below). When this book is read, Sypha will release three heat-seeking lightning orbs that will hover about the area and home in the nearest enemy, striking it up to three times. These hard-hitting projectiles also work wonders against large bosses, who are more easily tracked. The orbs will leave the screen after a set period if no enemy has been struck. |
